Location: The Learning Experience – Oak Creek, WI
Pay: $16–$18 per hour
The Learning Experience – Oak Creek is seeking a nurturing and attentive Infant Lead Teacher to guide our infant classroom. This role focuses on providing responsive care while supporting babies through their earliest developmental milestones in a calm, structured environment.
Our infant program emphasizes consistent routines, sensory exploration, and meaningful interactions that support social, emotional, and physical development.
What You’ll Do
Lead the infant classroom in a safe, nurturing, and developmentally appropriate setting
Implement engaging activities aligned with the L.E.A.P. curriculum
Support feeding, diapering, naps, and individualized infant routines
Encourage early language development and sensory exploration
Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment
Communicate daily with families about feeding, sleep, and developmental milestones
Guide assistant teachers and maintain classroom consistency
Follow all Wisconsin childcare licensing and safety standards

Qualifications
Experience working with infants in an early childhood setting required
High school diploma or GED required
Early Childhood Education coursework or degree preferred
Lead Teacher qualified under Wisconsin licensing preferred
Knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices
