Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Infant Teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team. In this role, you will create a nurturing and stimulating environment tailored to the developmental needs of infants. Your primary goal is to foster growth, curiosity, and a love for learning through engaging activities, personalized care, and effective communication with both children and their families. Duties

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate curriculum plans that promote early childhood development, literacy education, and social-emotional skills.
  • Provide attentive toddler care by monitoring health, safety, and well-being throughout the day.
  • Manage classroom activities with effective classroom management strategies to ensure a safe, organized, and engaging learning environment.
  • Utilize behavior management techniques to support positive behavior and emotional regulation among infants.
  • Collaborate with families to discuss developmental milestones, progress, and individualized learning goals.
  • Incorporate early intervention strategies when necessary to support children with special education needs or developmental delays.
  • Conduct assessments using standardized testing methods to track growth and inform lesson planning.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development related to childhood development, Montessori methods, and early childhood education best practices.

Qualifications

  • Proven classroom experience working with infants or toddlers in daycare or preschool settings.
  • Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early intervention techniques.
  • Experience with curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management in early childhood education environments.
  • Familiarity with special education practices and behavior management strategies tailored for young children.
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with parents, colleagues, and specialists.
  • Knowledge of literacy education, math fundamentals, physical education for young children, and Montessori teaching methods is preferred.
  • Ability to create a nurturing environment that promotes child welfare and supports individual learning styles.
