Infant Teacher

Stillmeadow Nazarene Child Care Center is looking for an experienced Infant Teacher..

Qualifications:

• Associates or BA in Early Childhood Education or hold the Child Development Associate Credential (CDA) prefferred
• At least 2500 documented hours prior experience working with children
• Demonstrated knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices
• Strong written and oral communication skills

Daily Responsibilities:

• Maintain an orderly, healthy, safe and positive learning environment where children develop a love of learning.
• Plan and implement individual and group activities that are responsive to the needs and interests of the children.
• Use developmentally appropriate practices which promote social, emotional, intellectual, physical and spiritual development.
• Assess each child’s learning needs through documented observations and the use of the assessment tool.
• Develop lesson plans aligned with the center’s curriculum and PA Early Learning Standards.
• Maintain positive relationships with parents and communicate with them in a professional manner.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $14.50 - $17.00 per hour
