Role Overview

We are seeking an IT Operations Specialist to oversee and manage the day-to-day performance, reliability, and security of our IT systems. This role is central to maintaining seamless IT operations across the organization — ensuring uptime, optimizing performance, and providing hands-on technical support that empowers teams to deliver at their best.


Key Responsibilities

  • Monitor and maintain all IT systems, servers, VPNs and network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and availability.
  • Manage user accounts, access controls, and permissions across applications, systems, and devices.
  • Perform regular maintenance, updates, and backups to ensure data integrity and system resilience.
  • Proficiency in asset tracking softwares.(Atlassian, Asset Tiger, Company Directory)
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues promptly, escalating when necessary.
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity and data protection policies; implement endpoint and network security protocols.
  • Support onboarding/offboarding processes, including device setup, configuration, and access provisioning.
  • Document IT processes, asset inventory, and incident logs to maintain operational transparency.
  • Collaborate with vendors and service providers to ensure smooth delivery of IT services and support contracts.
  • Participate in business continuity and disaster recovery planning and testing.
  • Identify opportunities for automation and efficiency improvements in IT workflows.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • 3–5 years of experience in IT operations, systems administration, or network management.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows and/or Mac server environments, cloud services (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud), and networking protocols.
  • Experience with ITSM tools, endpoint management, and security frameworks.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and documentation skills.
  • Strong sense of accountability, discretion, and attention to detail in handling sensitive data and systems.


Preferred Skills

  • Experience with Microsoft 365 administration and cloud-based collaboration tools.
  • Familiarity with scripting (AWS) for automation.
  • Understanding of ITIL practices or certifications (CompTIA, CCNA, MCSA, etc.).
