Information Technology Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Information Technology Specialist to join our team in the manufacturing sector. This role is crucial in ensuring that our IT infrastructure runs efficiently and effectively to support our operational goals. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of both IT hardware and software systems, as well as the ability to troubleshoot and implement technological solutions that enhance our manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

• Respond to requests for technical assistance in person, via phone, email, or ticketing system.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, printers, and mobile devices.
• Support and troubleshoot Microsoft Office 365, Windows OS, and other enterprise applications.
• Monitor and manage IT help desk tickets to ensure timely resolution within SLA targets.
• Escalate complex problems to appropriate IT teams (network, infrastructure, applications).
• Set up new user accounts, email addresses, and configure workstations for new hires.
• Assist with the onboarding and off boarding of employees from an IT perspective.
• Maintain inventory of IT assets and coordinate hardware replacement and upgrades.
• Document solutions and maintain a knowledge base of frequent issues and resolutions.
• Ensure compliance with IT policies, procedures, and cybersecurity standards.
  
  

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in a similar IT support/help desk role.
• Solid knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office Suite, and basic networking.
• Familiarity with Active Directory, Office 365 admin portals, and remote desktop tools.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and multitask in a fast-paced engineering or industrial environment.
• Fluent in Arabic and good command of English (written and spoken).
