Role Overview
The Inside Sales & Marketing Representative is a hybrid, high-impact role supporting Triton’s revenue growth by managing customer interactions, supporting the sales pipeline, and executing foundational marketing initiatives. This role sits at the intersection of sales execution, customer engagement, and marketing operations, and is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.
This position will be instrumental in order accuracy, customer follow-up, pipeline development, and brand visibility, while also supporting marketing campaigns and digital presence through HubSpot and social media.
Sales Responsibilities
· Enter and process customer orders accurately and efficiently; fishbowl or WMS experience a plus.
· Act as a primary point of contact for inbound customer inquiries
· Conduct customer follow-up on quotes, orders, deliveries, and outstanding items
· Support outside sales reps with order intake, pricing coordination, marketing materials, and account communication
· Perform outbound prospecting activities, including:
o Calling and emailing prospective customers
o Following up on leads generated via marketing campaigns
o Re-engaging dormant or inactive accounts
· Maintain accurate customer and deal records within HubSpot CRM
· Assist with AR support activities, including basic collections follow-up as needed
· Help identify cross-sell and upsell opportunities within existing accounts
Marketing Responsibilities
· Support the design and creation of marketing materials, including:
o Sales sheets
o Product one-pagers
o Email graphics
o Basic digital assets
· Assist with planning and execution of Conference and Trade Show efforts
· Build and execute marketing campaigns using HubSpot, including:
o Email campaigns
o Lead nurturing workflows
o Sales enablement campaigns
· Manage and post content across Triton’s social media channels (e.g., LinkedIn, Instagram, others as applicable)
· Coordinate marketing calendars and campaign schedules
· Track and report on basic marketing metrics (open rates, click-throughs, engagement, lead conversions)
· Support website updates and content refreshes as needed
· Improve general web presence with SEO and potentially advertising
· Ensure brand consistency across all marketing and sales materials
Cross-Functional & Operational Support
· Work closely with operations, purchasing, and logistics teams to ensure accurate order fulfillment
· Provide feedback from customers and prospects to leadership on:
o Product performance
o Pricing feedback
o Competitive insights
· Assist in improving internal sales and marketing processes
· Help document workflows, templates, and best practices as Triton scales
· Support special projects related to growth, new product launches, or market expansion
Qualifications & Skills
Required
· 2+ years of experience in inside sales, sales support, marketing, or a hybrid function role
· Strong organizational and time-management skills
· Comfortable handling multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
· Excellent written and verbal communication skills
· Experience with CRM systems (HubSpot strongly preferred)
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office / 365 Suite
Preferred
· Experience in building materials, construction products, or B2B distribution
· Familiarity with marketing automation tools and email campaigns
· Basic design experience (Canva, Adobe, or similar tools)
· Experience supporting sales teams in a growth-oriented company
· Comfortable with outbound prospecting and customer engagement
· Familiarity with website CMS (Wordpress)

Compensation
· Base salary commensurate with experience
· Bonus or commission component tied to sales activity and performance (details TBD)
