Job description
SUMMARY
The Marketing Associate will be responsible for managing marketing programs that build awareness and our brand and introduce our products and services to new customers as well as supporting our sales team with a wide variety of sales and marketing activities
EDUCATION / QUALIFICATIONS
Possess skills in the following areas:
o Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or Business (preferred)
o Excellent organizational and customer service skills
o Exceptional time management, interpersonal and communication skills
o Efficient in Microsoft Office
o Good research, data analysis, and data management skills is a plus
o Knowledge of the industrial services and/or valve industry is a plus
RESPONSIBILITIES
General Marketing Administrative
o Business cards, sales brochures, logos/brand control, promo items, sponsorships, golf tournaments, trade shows, projects, miscellaneous admin support
Sales Support
o Brochures, presentation, contact follow up, sponsorships, relationship building, contact management, reports (bookings, sales, products)
Operations Sales Support
o Quote monitoring, reports (open orders and production/due dates), expediting coordination and team communications
Brand & Prospect Campaigning
o Research, segmentation, outreach, follow up, introductions - repeat
o Research and segment new customer prospects, review with sales management, prioritize prospects and initiate marketing introductions
o Actively market to new customers, introduce our value proposition and services, and initiate follow-through activities
o Actively market to new customers and obtain vendor approvals by distributing our sales collateral and completing request for qualifications (RFQs)
o Maintain brand awareness by actively marketing to existing customer by distributing items of interest
o Market and sell our services to “stale” customers where we are approved but have not seen recent business
o Assist sales management with monthly account manager sales results and analyze sales trends by customer and products
o Interface with operations and sales team to ensure quotes are completed on time
o Run Open Order reports and assist sales team with monitoring orders, progress, and delivery dates
o Report marketing lead activity and advancement through the sales pipeline
o Coordinate trade shows, customer, and industry sponsorships and events – registrations, planning, and execution
o Manage and track the marketing budget and report to sales management
o Manage company master contact database – track new additions, cleanse duplicates, updates changes, and assist account managers with data quality and updates
o Review, manage, and update website content and assist with website enhancements and development
o Conduct monthly customer service surveys, seek customer feedback, manage and disseminate feedback
o Coordinate company sales collateral, assist account managers with presentations and collateral needs
o Create involvement and participate in community organizations, Chamber of Commerce, trade organizations
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $38,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
