About the Family & Social Services Administration:
The Division of Family Resources (DFR) within the Family and Social Services Administration (FSSA) is responsible for establishing eligibility for Medicaid, Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program and Temporary Assistance for Needy Families benefits. The division also manages the timely and accurate delivery of SNAP and TANF benefits. DFR also provides employment and training services to some SNAP and TANF recipients. The division’s overarching focus is the support and preservation of families by emphasizing self-sufficiency and personal responsibility.
Role Overview:
This role, Instructional Designer, will serve as the Subject Matter Expert to create and review educational materials, ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines. You will write instructional storyboards and communications for internal and external stakeholders and will use authoring tools to develop storyboards into e-learning modules. The ideal candidate for this role will ahve experience in cognitive learning science, instructional design, curriculum development, and adult learning strategies. Additionally, the ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of Articulate 360, the Microsoft Office 365, and the Adobe Create Cloud. Moderate travel is required and the primary location for this position is negotiable dependent on office availability.
Salary Statement:
The salary for this position traditionally starts at $59,800.00 but may be commensurate with education or work experience.
