Insurance Coordinator

The Insurance Coordinator is responsible for managing the company’s insurance policies, ensuring proper coverage for assets, employees, and liabilities This role involves liaising with insurance providers, coordinating claims, and ensuring compliance with legal and company requirements The Insurance Coordinator will also handle renewals, adjustments, and any queries related to insurance matters

Job responsibilities: ( These are the fundamental job duties regularly performed by the employee in the position)

· Achieve Monthly Insurance Renewal Targets: Ensure all monthly insurance renewal goals are met in a timely manner

Lead Engagement: Approach potential leads daily through calls, SMS, email, WhatsApp, and other communication channels
  • Liaise with Insurance Underwriters: Work closely with a panel of insurance underwriters to obtain competitive rates and quotes
  • Customer Retention: Promote and influence customers to retain their policies, aiming for a high conversion ratio
  • Policy Explanation & Guidance: Explain the benefits and coverage of policies to customers, helping them choose the right options to meet their needs
  • Policy Documentation: Handle policy paperwork and manage policy issuance through the insurance portal provided by the panel of insurers
  • Reporting: Maintain accurate daily, weekly, and monthly reports and share them with the team leader

Educational Qualification

· University degree

Work Experience

(Consider work experience requirement to do the job; x of years)

· 2-3 years’ experience in motor insurance

Competencies

(Consider certain technical skills to do the job, Analytical Skills, Persuasives, Strategic Thinking etc)

Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to use effective selling techniques
  • Proficient in computer skills and ability to effectively use the company software
  • Previous experience in a similar insurance-related role
  • Knowledge of relevant laws regarding insurance, especially auto-insurance

Languages

· English a must, Arabic-speaking is an advantage
