Intake Specialist

Full-time Intake Specialist position (with the opportunity for promotion to paralegal) at small plaintiff's firm in Center City focusing on Plaintiff Bad Faith insurance litigation cases.

Applicant is responsible for providing general administrative support and conducting telephonic initial intake interviews with potential clients. The Applicant must be adept at producing high-quality documents under tight deadlines, able to multitask and prioritize workflow in the office. Applicant must be able to think quickly while managing a heavy workload. The successful candidate will be self-motivated, detail-oriented, energetic, and highly organized. Must be a team player and have strong writing, editing, data entry, and proofreading skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, as the job requires communicating effectively with various populations. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and a command of the English language are required.

Duties include:

  • Serving as contact point for all incoming calls and visits
  • Completing intakes and screening potential clients
  • Maintaining case tracking software
  • Providing administrative support for multiple attorneys
  • Drafting letters to insurance companies to obtain documentation

M-F ; 9 AM - 5 PM

Preferred Experience:

  • Ability to handle multiple phone calls and other tasks simultaneously
  • Proficiency of Microsoft Office programs (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
  • Ideal candidate will be a self-starter who does not require heavy oversight, but can manage completing deadlines and tasks on their own

Compensation:$20/hour

After two month probationary period, health insurance benefits provided
