Search Specialist Headhunter All Things Oil & Gas
Role Purpose: You are responsible for consolidating and optimizing all short-, medium-, and long-term planning activities across drilling, production, maintenance, projects, HSE, logistics, and operations. The role ensures seamless alignment between business objectives, asset plans, and operational execution, driving asset performance and cost efficiency.
1. Integrated Activity Planning (IAP)
- Develop, update, and manage 1-year, 3-year, and 5-year integrated plans covering drilling, completions, production, maintenance, and shutdowns.
- Facilitate Integrated Planning Meetings (weekly, monthly, quarterly) with asset teams.
- Ensure alignment of operational plans with annual work programs and budgets.
2. Schedule Development & Optimization
- Create detailed schedules using Primavera P6, MS Project, or equivalent tools.
- Optimize planning sequences to minimize downtime, conflicts, and cost.
- Integrate contractor and OEM schedules into master plans.
3. Stakeholder Coordination
- Interface with drilling, production operations, maintenance, logistics, commercial, and HSE teams.
- Collaborate with JV partners, NUIMS, and regulators for plan alignment and approvals.
- Ensure transparent communication of schedules and changes.
4. Performance Monitoring & Reporting
- Track plan execution vs. targets and KPIs (cost, uptime, delivery, deferment).
- Generate weekly, monthly, and quarterly planning dashboards and reports.
- Identify risks, delays, and bottlenecks and escalate mitigation actions.
5. Governance and Assurance
- Ensure planning activities align with company standards, regulatory requirements, and contractual obligations.
- Lead readiness reviews and assurance checks (e.g., SIMOPS, shutdown preparedness).
- Develop planning workflows, templates, and tools.
- Support digitalization initiatives (e.g., Asset Planning Software, Power BI dashboards).
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Petroleum, Chemical, Electrical) or related technical discipline.
- Minimum of 10 years relevant experience in upstream planning (E&P environment).
- Prior experience in an E&P operator, JV, IOC, or major oilfield service company.
- Certifications (an advantage): Primavera P6 Certification, PMP / Prince2 / Planning & Scheduling Professional (PSP), Offshore Safety or Asset Planning courses
