Interior Engineer / Fit-Out Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Interior Engineer / Fit-Out Engineer with a minimum of 3 to 8 years of experience in interior fit-out and finishing works. The candidate will be responsible for executing and supervising interior works on-site, ensuring quality, safety, and timely completion as per approved drawings and project specifications.

Key Responsibilities (Fit-Out Execution):

• Supervise and execute interior fit-out works including partitions, ceilings, flooring, painting, joinery, and finishing activities.
• Coordinate with site team, subcontractors, and suppliers to ensure smooth workflow and timely execution.
• Review and implement approved shop drawings, material submittals, and method statements.
• Ensure work is carried out as per project specifications, quality standards, and UAE regulations.
• Monitor daily progress, manpower, and material requirements to meet project deadlines.
• Coordinate with consultants and clients for inspections, approvals, and site clarifications.
• Ensure proper site documentation including daily reports, material approvals, and work completion records.
• Identify technical issues on-site and propose practical solutions to avoid delays.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements and maintain safe working practices at site.
• Assist in preparing work schedules, progress reports, and handover documents.

Requirements & Skills:

• Bachelor’s Degree / Diploma in Interior Design or related field.
• Minimum 3 to 8 years of experience in interior fit-out and finishing works.
• Strong knowledge of interior materials, site execution methods, and finishing standards.
• Good understanding of drawings, BOQs, and fit-out specifications.
• Proficient in MS Office (Excel, Word); AutoCAD is an advantage.
• Strong coordination and communication skills with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

Preferred:

• Experience in villas, commercial buildings, offices, retail fit-out, and interior renovation projects.
• Knowledge of authority approvals, inspection procedures, and handover documentation.
