Interior Fit-Out / Joinery Designer & Draftsman

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop interior concepts, layouts, and detailed plans for commercial and residential projects.
• Produce accurate 2D and 3D drawings, renderings, and models using AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar design software.
• Prepare detailed joinery and shop drawings for production and installation.
• Create design presentations and material boards to support client approvals.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure design accuracy and feasibility.
• Conduct site visits, take measurements, and ensure drawings match site conditions.
• Select materials, finishes, colors, and fixtures for cohesive, high-quality designs.
• Provide creative and technical design solutions that align with project specifications, budgets, and deadlines.
• Collaborate with suppliers and subcontractors to source materials and manage timelines.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in interior fit-out, joinery drafting, and design.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, SketchUp, and other relevant design software.
• Strong knowledge of joinery details, materials, finishes, and installation methods.
• Excellent design sense, creativity, and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred:

• UAE/GCC experience.
• Knowledge of sustainable materials and modern design trends.
