Job Title: Project Engineer – Interior Fit-out

Location: Dubai
Department: Projects / Operations
Reporting to: Project Manager / Project Director

Job Purpose:

To plan, coordinate, and supervise interior fit-out projects from initiation to completion, ensuring quality, timely delivery, and cost efficiency in alignment with project specifications and company standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage daily site activities to ensure smooth project execution.
• Review and implement approved drawings, specifications, and project schedules.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers to achieve project milestones.
• Prepare and monitor project progress, material procurement, and manpower allocation.
• Ensure all materials and workmanship meet required quality and safety standards.
• Conduct site inspections and resolve technical or construction issues promptly.
• Manage subcontractor performance and ensure adherence to deadlines.
• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly progress reports for management.
• Ensure proper documentation, approvals, and project handover completion.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering is required. (mandatory).
• 6 – 8 years of experience in interior fit-out projects in the UAE (commercial, retail, office, or hospitality sectors preferred).
• Strong technical knowledge of interior finishes, joinery works, and MEP coordination.
• Proficient in AutoCAD, MS Office, and project management tools (MS Project / Primavera preferred).
• Excellent leadership, communication, and coordination skills.
• Membership in local authorities and the Society of Engineers (UAE) is an advantage.
