Brightwing helps brands build consistent, high-performing social media systems through strategy, content planning, production workflows, and performance-driven iteration.
As an Intermediate Creative Media Specialist (CMS), you independently own both video editing (shortform + longform) and social media design for assigned client accounts. You consistently deliver strong first drafts, maintain brand consistency across all formats, and execute weekly deliverables on time. You’ll work closely with a Brand Manager who provides strategy, priorities, and approvals—while you own creative execution, organization, and quality control.
Key Responsibilities
- Own weekly short-form production (Reels/TikTok/Shorts): strong hook, pacing, retention, clean captions/subtitles, and strong sound design.
- Edit longform videos end-to-end: structure, clarity, pacing, b-roll, music/SFX, audio cleanup, on-screen graphics, and final polish.
- Create social media designs (carousels, static posts, story assets) aligned with brand strategy and brand guidelines.
- Maintain consistent brand execution across video + design (fonts, colors, caption systems, layouts, motion style, overall “vibe”).
- Work from briefs and direction, and proactively flag missing assets or unclear inputs early—proposing solutions.
- Implement feedback quickly and accurately, with clean version control and minimal back-and-forth.
- Organize assets and deliverables properly (correct folders, naming conventions, project files, exports).
- Improve efficiency by building reusable systems (templates, caption styles, AE mogrts, export presets, design frameworks).
Required Qualifications
- 2–4+ years experience producing social media content (video editing + design) with a strong portfolio.
- Proven ability to deliver high-quality shortform edits and independently handle longform edits.
- Strong storytelling instincts: you can tighten content, improve clarity, and make pacing more engaging.
- Strong design fundamentals: typography, spacing, hierarchy, clean layout, and brand consistency.
- Preferred tools: Adobe Premiere Pro. After Effects strongly preferred for motion text/graphics.
- (Other tools are acceptable if output quality is excellent.)
- Strong operational discipline: deadlines, file organization, version control, and clean exports.
- Comfortable working across multiple clients and managing weekly deliverables.Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced After Effects skills (MOGRT creation, motion systems, reusable packs).
- Canva/Figma proficiency for faster design iteration and template building.
- Strong audio workflow (noise reduction, leveling, mixing voice/music/SFX).
- Experience creating structured carousel systems (covers, slide templates, icon styles).
- Familiarity with YouTube best practices (chapters, retention-focused pacing, packaging basics).
