International Sales Manager – Endo Surgery

Function: International Business – Endo Surgery Portfolio

Reporting To: BU Head

Location: India - Mumbai


Role Purpose

To drive revenue growth, market expansion, and distributor performance for Meril’s Endo Surgery portfolio in the assigned international market by implementing market-specific strategies, strengthening channel partnerships, and enabling data-driven decision-making aligned with global business objectives.


Key Responsibilities

International Sales & Market Development

• Drive country-level sales targets for the Endo Surgery portfolio

• Develop and execute market-specific business strategies for the region

• Identify and expand business opportunities across key hospitals and accounts

• Monitor competitor activities, pricing strategies, and market trends

Distributor & Customer Management

• Establish and maintain strong relationships with distributors and key clients

• Drive distributor performance through regular reviews, joint field visits, and target alignment

• Support institutional sales opportunities and large account development

• Ensure effective demand generation and market penetration strategies

Launch & Cross-Functional Coordination

• Collaborate with Global hires in each markets, Marketing, Regulatory, Supply Chain, and Finance teams for seamless product launches and market entry strategies

• Support clinical workshops, product trials, and surgeon engagement initiatives

• Ensure timely availability of products and smooth execution of launch plans

Data Analytics & Business Insights

• Create dashboards and reports for senior management review

• Perform sales data transformation, consolidation, forecasting, and performance tracking

• Generate actionable insights to support strategic planning and decision-making

Planning, Budget & Compliance

• Manage and monitor the country sales budget and profitability

• Ensure compliance with local laws, regulatory requirements, and company policies

• Maintain accurate sales forecasts, pipeline reports, and market feedback documentation

Team Capability & Training

• Provide training and product knowledge support to distributor sales teams

• Build strong on-ground execution capability within the assigned market

What Will You Need

Experience

• 3–8 years of experience in Sales – Endo Surgery (Suture / Staplers) within Medical Devices / Healthcare

• Added advantage of having experience handling international markets.

• Exposure to Endo Surgery / Advanced Laparoscopy / Surgical portfolio preferred

• Experience managing distributors and market expansion initiative & willingness to travel on international trips.

Education

• Graduate in Science / Biomedical / Engineering / Business or related discipline

• MBA preferred

Skills

• Strong strategic and analytical mindset

• Proficiency in Power BI or similar data analytics tools

• Excellent distributor and stakeholder management skills

• Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation ability

• Ability to work independently in international market environments
