Inventory Control Specialist

Job Summary

JAM Services is a well-established traffic signal and electrical distributor serving the Northern California area. We are excited to have a new Inventory Control Specialist our Team at our Livermore location.

We are seeking a detail-oriented Inventory Control Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing inventory levels, ensuring accuracy in stock counts, and optimizing stock processes. Some experience in warehouse stock, procurement, and data management to support our JAM team in effective inventory strategies would be helpful.

This position is scheduled for Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM. This is a full-time, non-exempt position.

Duties

• Receiving / Checking in New Material
• Updating Stock Purchasing Log and Traffic & Lighting Inventory Log
• Stocking Shelves with Incoming Material (FIFO)
• Counting Stock, Inventory Balance, Update Log
• Pulling Material for Customer Orders
• Record Serial Numbers from Material in Stock
• Print Labels for Organizing and Separating Items
• Review Packing Slip Information
• Check Packing Slips Before Shipping
• File Physical Packing Slips by Date
• Inspect Returned Material, Return to Stock, Update Necessary Logs to Reflect Activity
• Perform Stock Checks When Requested Using TEAMS "Stock Check" Chat
• Maintain Warehouse Area. Clean, Sweep, Organize
• Order Stock Materials when Needed using Quickbooks
• Work in Quickbooks and Microsoft Outlook

Qualifications

• Ability to perform lifting as required in warehouse settings.
• Experience with logistics operations including shipping & receiving, and order fulfillment
• Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
