Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Inventory Controller to manage inventory operations. The ideal candidate will oversee the flow of products from procurement to distribution, ensuring optimal inventory levels to meet customer demand while minimizing costs and maximizing efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement inventory management procedures to optimize stock levels and minimize stock outs.
• Monitor inventory movement using inventory management software.
• Coordinate with suppliers for timely delivery and resolve procurement issues.
• Conduct regular stock audits to reconcile system records with physical counts.
• Analyze data to forecast demand trends and support purchasing decisions.
• Collaborate with sales and operations teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment.
• Maintain best practices for inventory storage and handling to prevent damage or spoilage.
• Prepare inventory performance reports (turnover rates, carrying costs, stock outs) and recommend improvements.
• Identify and implement process optimization and cost-reduction opportunities.
• Investigate discrepancies, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions.
• Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory requirements, and advancements in inventory management.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• 2–3 years of proven experience in inventory control (experience in the health & fitness industry preferred).
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in inventory management software.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with strong task prioritization skills.
• High attention to detail and accuracy in data entry/record-keeping.
• Knowledge of Lean principles and continuous improvement methodologies (preferred).
• Strong ERP knowledge required.
