Inventory Controller

Job Title: Inventory Controller

Job Type: Full-time

Location: Saggian Lahore, Pakistan

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Inventory Controller to oversee inventory accuracy and ensure effective stock management across warehouses, showrooms and distributor locations. The ideal candidate will have strong inventory control experience, excellent analytical skills and the ability to identify and resolve stock discrepancies while maintaining compliance with company inventory procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct quarterly physical inventory counts for warehouses, showrooms and distributor locations.
  • Prepare department-wise inventory control reports and investigate stock discrepancies.
  • Verify and reconcile sales returns, purchase returns and inventory adjustments through movement journals.
  • Review and validate Local Goods Receipt Notes (GRNs) and return transactions.
  • Prepare damaged stock and dead stock reports every 45 days and recommend corrective actions.
  • Monitor monthly shelf-life reports to ensure timely utilization of inventory.
  • Ensure strict implementation of the FEFO (First Expired, First Out) inventory management method within warehouses.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure stock movements are properly documented.
  • Coordinate with Warehouse, Sales, Supply Chain and Finance departments to resolve inventory-related issues.
  • Support internal and external inventory audits by providing accurate documentation and reports.
  • Identify opportunities to improve inventory accuracy and operational efficiency.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Commerce or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations or stock management.
  • Strong knowledge of inventory management principles, stock reconciliation and warehouse processes.
  • Good understanding of FEFO/FIFO inventory practices.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/Inventory Management Systems.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently and meet deadlines.

Preferred Skills

  • Experience in FMCG or distribution companies will be preferred.
  • Knowledge of inventory audits and stock reconciliation.
  • Strong reporting and data analysis skills.
  • Effective communication and teamwork abilities.

Pay: Rs70,000.00 - Rs90,000.00 per month
