Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the custodian of business inventory and oversee all inventory management operations.
- Optimize warehouse storage space through ABC and heat map analysis.
- Develop and implement action plans to minimize stock loss in collaboration with the Loss Prevention team.
- Analyze warehouse damages and implement preventive measures with inbound and outbound teams.
- Lead shrinkage analysis and develop strategies for reduction.
- Ensure timeliness and integrity of all inventory-related transactions.
Operational Responsibilities
- Investigate inventory discrepancies during cycle counts and picking processes, ensuring timely resolution.
- Oversee stock transfers across warehouses and stores, ensuring all movements are accurately recorded.
- Provide regular updates on pending transfers, cycle counts, and trouble-coded inventory.
- Coordinate directly with suppliers and buying teams for stock returns.
- Track warehouse logs, credit notes, RTV adjustments, and ensure accurate reporting to finance.
- Process credit notes, RTVs, write-offs, and adjustments in the system with proper documentation.
- Monitor daily transactions, investigate discrepancies, and ensure resolution via OnBase logs.
- Manage perpetual stock-take calendars and ensure compliance across sites.
- Collaborate with business inventory managers to compile and report monthly shrinkage data.
- Identify and manage expiry and obsolete products, coordinating with stakeholders for disposal or RTV.
- Oversee physical stock counts, validate results, and prepare reports with recommendations for management.
People & Process Management
- Coach and motivate team members to achieve performance standards and continuous improvement.
- Review operations from a risk management perspective and escalate potential risks to HSE committees.
- Maintain a safe work environment in compliance with company HSE practices.
- Communicate operational performance updates and align team goals with business objectives.
- Foster a positive work culture, focusing on engagement, retention, and efficiency.
