We are looking for a Senior Logistics Executive who will be responsible for stock management and inventory movement optimization.
Key Responsibilities:
Logistics Strategy

Ensure regular assessment of policies, procedures and guidelines and review them from time to time as per the concept supply chain requirements

Set up a process work flow for stock movements

Study the requirement any new market and present the logistic challenges in the market in consultation with the corporate team

Provide end to end visibility of inventory from source to store
-
Responsible for PO management – ensure timely release of POs with 100% accuracy.

Ensure timely handover of goods by Suppliers for shipment sailing
-
Ensure proper documentation for timely clearance of containers from ports
-
Working with Warehouse teams to ensure timely receiving and launch of inventory in stores
-
Keeping track of Shortage/Excess/Damage and getting claims thereof
-
Review of Supply Chain processes and take initiatives for automation or improvements

Making weekly Inventory forecast, and ensuring the actuals are in line with forecast
-
Working with cross functional teams and drive business decisions on inventory movement

Regular review of Freight and Logistics costs and ensuring the same is under control and in line with budgets

Analysing the Supply Chain volume and cost reports and circulating MIS reports to Management with proper insights
-
Working with Corporate Supply Chain team and ensuring 100% adherence to Group Supply Chain policies
Project Management

Facilitating & ensuring concept readiness for Development Projects

Implementation of RFID for concept as per the plan in alignment with concept IT/ Retail & Territory team
People Management

Monitor team development and facilitate grievance resolution

Oversee staff deployment and drive motivation levels of the direct reportees
Key Requirements:

Post Graduate Degree in SCM (Preferred)
-
2 – 4 years of experience in supply chain operations or supply chain business consulting

Should be self-driven and willing to take initiatives on his/her own

Should have excellent communication skills to work with cross functional teams

Must be good with excel, data analysis and MIS reporting
