Investment Analyst

Position Overview and Key Responsibilities:

o Perform research and analysis to manage investment options.

o Provide information and make recommendations to professional staff on managers, advisory service products, investment selection, suitability guidelines, and reporting decisions.

o Conduct detailed research and analysis of investment opportunities.

o Develop and prepare needs-based analyses or financial plans. o Recommend fund portfolio options based on client needs and industry trends.

o Monitor funding of advisory accounts and communicate with clients regarding advisory-related services and products.

o Process investment accounts, trades, and private investment paperwork.

o Mutual Fund Wholesaler Point of Contact.

o Coordinating investment committee meetings. Provide market commentary and economic outlook.

o Monitoring capital gains distributions

o Ongoing monitoring of securities. o Model management & updating positions.

o ALTS paperwork.

o Attend client meetings. Including those with joint work partners.

Qualifications:

o Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, or related field preferred.

o Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

o Ability to adapt to change and work in a fast-paced environment.

o Familiarity with Microsoft applications and web-based data management.

o Minimum of 3 years of broker-dealer knowledge and understanding.

o Must have Series 7, 66, SIE.

o Must get Life and Health licenses before starting.

Experience:

o 2-3 years of financial planning experience in the securities industry

o Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and reliability.

o Customer service experience, including excellent oral and written communication skills.

Pay: $70,000.00 - $90,000.00 per year
