About the Role
Grand City is seeking an IT Executive with at least 4 years of proven experience in IT operations and user support. The role will focus on maintaining the company’s IT infrastructure, ensuring network and system security, and providing efficient technical support to staff across departments.
Key Responsibilities
- User Support: Provide first-line support for hardware, software, and network-related issues, ensuring timely resolution.
- System Management: Install, configure, and troubleshoot desktops, laptops, servers, and printers.
- Access & Security: Manage user accounts, credentials, and access rights; implement and monitor security protocols.
- Network Monitoring: Maintain stable internet, intranet, and email services while proactively addressing connectivity or performance issues.
- Cybersecurity Oversight: Implement data protection measures, monitor threats, and ensure system confidentiality.
- Onboarding IT Setup: Prepare devices, credentials, and biometric access for new employees.
- Vendor Coordination: Manage IT procurement, software licensing, and vendor service agreements.
- Asset & Record Management: Maintain IT inventory, logs, and preventive maintenance schedules.
- Policy & Compliance: Enforce IT policies, SOPs, and compliance standards across the organization.
- Software Support: Provide assistance for company applications (ERP, CRM, etc.) and coordinate with consultants for advanced troubleshooting.
- Reporting: Prepare periodic IT performance, incident, and system health reports for management.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 4 years of hands-on experience in IT support or operations.
- Strong technical knowledge of networking, Windows/Linux environments, and IT security.
- Practical experience with troubleshooting, user support, and IT asset management.
- Familiarity with ERP/CRM systems (preferred).
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and work effectively under pressure.
