The IT Executive is responsible for managing and maintaining the company's IT infrastructure, providing technical support to staff, and ensuring the efficiency, security, and integrity of all IT systems and data. This role requires a balance of technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and the ability to implement and enforce IT policies.
Key Responsibilities
IT Infrastructure Management

  • Manage and maintain all IT infrastructure components, including servers, networks (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi), hardware (desktops, laptops, printers), and software applications.
  • Monitor system performance, network connectivity, and security systems to ensure optimal operation and minimal downtime.
  • Administer user accounts, permissions, and directory services (e.g., Active Directory, Google Workspace).
  • Oversee data backup and recovery procedures to safeguard company data.

Technical Support and Troubleshooting

  • Provide timely technical support (helpdesk) and troubleshooting for all staff regarding hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Install, configure, and upgrade hardware and software applications on user workstations and servers.
  • Diagnose and resolve complex technical problems, coordinating with external vendors or specialized support when necessary.

Security and Compliance

  • Implement and enforce IT security best practices, including antivirus, firewall, and data encryption measures.
  • Ensure all IT systems are compliant with internal policies and relevant industry regulations.
  • Manage system access and control to prevent unauthorized use.

Project Management and Strategy

  • Participate in planning and execution of IT projects, such as system upgrades, migrations, and new technology rollouts.
  • Evaluate and recommend new technologies, hardware, and software solutions to improve operational efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Maintain and update the inventory of all IT assets and licenses.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in an IT support, IT administration, or similar role.
  • Strong proficiency in: Network Administration, Server Administration (Windows/Linux), Operating Systems (Windows, macOS), Cybersecurity fundamentals, and Cloud Computing basics.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities, strong communication (written and verbal) skills, ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities, and excellent customer service orientation.
