IT Executive

A premier 5-star resort, offering world-class amenities and unparalleled guest experiences. is seeking a skilled and proactive IT Executive to ensure our systems run flawlessly, allowing our guests and colleagues to enjoy a connected and hassle-free stay.

The Role
We are looking for a tech-savvy professional with a passion for hospitality. You will be responsible for the day-to-day IT operations of the resort, ensuring high availability and security of all systems. While we operate at a 5-star level, we welcome applicants who have honed their technical skills in a busy 4-star or 5-star hotel environment and are ready to maintain the highest standards of efficiency and discretion.

Key Responsibilities

  • Technical Support: Provide first-line support for all hardware and software issues across the resort, including front office systems, restaurants, back office, and guest-facing technology.
  • Systems Management: Maintain and monitor critical hospitality systems, including PMS (Property Management System), POS (Point of Sale), PBX (telephone), and network infrastructure.
  • Guest Services: Assist guests with connectivity issues (Wi-Fi, in-room technology) promptly and courteously, ensuring a seamless luxury experience.
  • Network Security: Assist in implementing and monitoring cybersecurity measures to protect guest data and company assets.
  • Maintenance & Upgrades: Perform routine maintenance, system backups, and coordinate with external vendors for hardware repairs and software upgrades.
  • Inventory: Manage IT inventory, including cables, peripherals, and spare equipment.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Diploma or Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 3-5 years of experience as an IT Executive, IT Officer, or similar role within a 4-star or 5-star hotel/resort environment.
  • Technical Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of PMS (Opera, IDS, or similar) is essential.
  • Experience with networking (LAN/WAN, Wi-Fi, Firewalls).
  • Familiarity with Windows Server, Active Directory, and Exchange.
  • Understanding of POS systems and telephone exchanges (PABX).
  • Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to work under pressure, and a guest-oriented mindset. Must be able to explain technical issues to non-technical staff and guests with patience.
