IT HELPDESK TECHNICIAN

Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and customer-focused IT Help Desk Technician to provide technical support and assistance to employees and ensure the smooth operation of IT systems. The ideal candidate should have strong troubleshooting skills, hands-on IT support experience, and must be currently based in Bahrain and available for immediate joining.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide first-level technical support to users via phone, email, or in person.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and other IT equipment.
  • Support Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, and basic networking issues.
  • Set up and manage user accounts, passwords, and access permissions.
  • Monitor and respond to help desk tickets in a timely manner.
  • Maintain IT documentation and update support logs and system records.
  • Assist in IT system upgrades, maintenance, and security updates.
  • Ensure compliance with company IT policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
  • 2–4 years of experience in IT support or help desk roles.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and basic networking.
  • Experience with hardware troubleshooting and system installations.
  • Good communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and resolve technical issues efficiently.
  • Must be locally available in Bahrain.
  • Immediate joiners preferred.

Preferred Skills

  • Familiarity with Active Directory and user account management.
  • Basic knowledge of network troubleshooting (LAN/Wi-Fi).
  • Experience using IT ticketing systems.
