Job Title: IT Project Management Lead
Purpose:
Lead, oversee, and ensure successful delivery of single or multiple IT projects within scope, quality, time, and cost constraints, delivering business value while managing dynamic changes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Planning & Execution: Develop project plans, schedules, milestones, and budgets; assign tasks; monitor progress; manage dependencies and critical paths.
- Leadership & Team Management: Motivate and direct project teams, resolve conflicts, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
- Communication & Reporting: Implement project communication plans, prepare status reports, and maintain project documentation.
- Risk & Change Management: Conduct risk assessments, implement mitigation plans, manage scope changes, and devise contingency plans.
- Acquisition & Deployment: Estimate resources, manage budgets, and coordinate with other departments for staffing or resources.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field.
- Project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, PMI-ACP).
- 8–10 years of relevant experience, with at least 3 years in a similar role; banking experience preferred, including core banking (BANCS) and EFTS projects.
- Experience managing both Waterfall and Agile projects, including transformations from Waterfall to Agile.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong leadership, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, handle shifting priorities, and motivate teams.
- Proficient in project management software and familiar with risk, issue, and stakeholder management.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
- Projects completed on time and within budget.
- Effective stakeholder communication and risk identification.
- Minimized deviations between estimated vs. actual costs and schedules.

Contract length: 36 months
Pay: BD1,000.000 - BD2,000.000 per month
