Job Purpose:

overseeing the planning, execution, and delivery of IT projects while ensuring alignment with business objectives, budgets, and regulatory requirements. The role involves managing project timelines, resources, risks, and stakeholder expectations to successfully implement IT initiatives that support the bank’s digital transformation and operational efficiency.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage multiple IT projects, ensuring on-time delivery within scope and budget.
  • Define project objectives, deliverables, and success criteria in collaboration with stakeholders.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, risk mitigation, and cost estimations.
  • Ensure alignment between IT project objectives and organizational strategy.
  • Develop and monitor IT project budgets, ensuring optimal resource allocation.
  • Track actual vs. planned project expenses and address variances proactively.
  • Work with finance and procurement teams to ensure cost-effective project execution and vendor contract compliance.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate risks associated with IT project execution.
  • Ensure all IT projects comply with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal governance policies.
  • Maintain detailed project documentation for audit and compliance reviews.
  • Coordinate with vendors, service providers, and contractors to ensure timely project delivery.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including business units, IT teams, and senior management.
  • Communicate project updates, risks, and financial impact to key stakeholders.
  • Lead and mentor project management teams, ensuring adherence to best practices.
  • Foster a collaborative and results-driven environment across IT and business teams.
  • Provide training and knowledge sharing to enhance project management capabilities.
  • 6. Process Improvement & Best Practices:
  • Implement IT project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, PMP, etc.) to improve efficiency.
  • Continuously evaluate and enhance project management processes.
  • Conduct post-project reviews and document lessons learned for continuous improvement.

Job Qualifications :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
  • Minimum 8 years of experience in IT project management, with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Proven track record in managing complex IT projects, including software implementations, infrastructure upgrades, and digital transformation initiatives.
  • Experience in budget forecasting, cost control, and vendor contract management.
