IT Requirements Analyst

·Key Responsibilities

Requirements Gathering & Analysis

• Conduct structured requirements elicitation sessions with key stakeholders using interviews, workshops, and data analysis techniques.
• Translate complex business needs into clear, precise, and testable functional and technical requirements.
• Develop and maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), Functional Specifications (FRDs), and Use Cases.
• Identify and document system dependencies, data flows, and integration points between modules (ERP, CRM, Booking, MIS, etc.).

System Design & Documentation

• Collaborate with software developers and solution architects to define system architecture and data mapping logic.
• Create detailed workflow diagrams, sequence diagrams, and process flow charts using modeling tools such as Visio, Lucidchart, or Draw.io.
• Develop API interface specifications, data field mappings, and integration protocols for third-party systems (e.g., payment gateways, GDS, ERP).
• Prepare UI/UX wireframes and functional mock-ups for new modules and enhancements.

Quality Assurance & Validation

• Define acceptance criteria and support QA teams in developing test cases and scripts.
• Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) to ensure deliverables meet business and technical requirements.
• Conduct defect triage and collaborate with developers for issue resolution and system stabilization.

Project Coordination & Implementation

• Support project managers in scope definition, sprint planning, and backlog prioritization under Agile/Scrum methodology.
• Track change requests, maintain version control of requirement documents, and ensure stakeholder alignment at every project milestone.
• Facilitate smooth deployment transitions from development to production environments, coordinating with IT Operations and Compliance teams.

Data & Process Optimization

• Perform gap analysis and impact assessment for new system enhancements or technology upgrades.
• Recommend and document process automation opportunities using data insights and business intelligence tools.
• Collaborate with MIS and Data Quality departments to ensure data accuracy, security, and governance across platforms.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or Information Systems.
• 3–5 years of professional experience in requirements analysis, system design, or IT business analysis.
• Strong technical understanding of databases (SQL Server, MySQL), APIs, web applications, and integration frameworks.
• Familiarity with ERP systems, Travel/Booking platforms, and enterprise automation is preferred.
• Proficiency in documentation tools and methodologies: Visio, JIRA, Confluence, MS Project, Figma, or Miro.
• Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
