IT Support Engineer

Karachi, Pakistan

Responsibilities

  • Install, configure, and troubleshoot computer systems, network devices, printers, and other peripherals.
  • Respond promptly and professionally to user support requests via phone, ticketing system, or in-person.
  • Diagnose and resolve a wide range of technical issues related to software, hardware, accounts, and network connectivity.
  • Provide clear and detailed documentation of problems, resolutions, and procedures.
  • Perform basic system administration tasks (user account setup, permissions, etc.).
  • Assist in rolling out new software, hardware, applications, and updates.
  • Work collaboratively with other IT team members to escalate and resolve complex issues.
  • Stay up-to-date on relevant technology trends and solutions.

Requirements

  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • 1 year of experience in an IT support or help desk role.
  • Strong working knowledge of common operating systems (Windows, macOS, Linux).
  • In-depth understanding of networking principles and troubleshooting.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
  • Ability to communicate technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical users.
  • Customer service-oriented attitude.
  • Strong attention to detail and time management skills.
