We are looking for a skilled and proactive IT Support Executive to join our client. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the hotel’s IT systems, troubleshooting technical issues, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operation of hardware, software, and network systems.
Job Responsibilities:
- Provide technical support for desktops, laptops, printers, scanners, and other IT equipment.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network-related issues promptly.
- Install, configure, and maintain operating systems, applications, and antivirus software.
- Monitor and maintain Wi-Fi, LAN/WAN connectivity, and internet services across the hotel premises.
- Support hotel management systems such as PMS (Property Management System), POS (Point of Sale), and attendance systems.
- Assist in maintaining CCTV systems, IP phones, and biometric devices.
- Perform regular system backups and ensure data security protocols are followed.
- Coordinate with external vendors/service providers for IT-related maintenance and upgrades.
- Maintain IT inventory and document technical issues and resolutions.
- Ensure smooth operation of conference room AV equipment and guest-facing technology services.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree / Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or related field.
- 2 to 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in the hotel or hospitality industry.
- Good knowledge of Windows OS, networking, routers/switches, and troubleshooting.
- Familiarity with hotel software systems (PMS/POS) will be preferred.
- Knowledge of CCTV, IP telephony, and access control systems is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Ability to work in shifts and handle urgent technical issues efficiently.
