Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and prioritize the daily helpdesk flow, ensuring all support tickets are resolved within agreed timelines.
  • Provide first and second-level technical support for hardware (PCs, laptops, printers) and software issues.
  • Coordinate the setup, configuration, and onboarding of IT equipment for new team members.
  • Maintain an accurate inventory of all IT assets, software licenses, and maintenance logs.
  • Monitor network performance and collaborate with external vendors for specialized repairs or upgrades.
  • Lead basic IT training sessions to help staff use internal systems and cybersecurity tools effectively.
  • Ensure data backup protocols and security patches are consistently applied across all workstations.

Skills and Requirements

  • Technical Troubleshooting: Strong ability to diagnose Windows/macOS, connectivity, and peripheral issues quickly.
  • Ticketing Systems: Experience using platforms like Jira, ServiceNow, or Zendesk to track and coordinate tasks.
  • Communication: Clear, professional English (verbal and written) to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Active Directory & Office 365: Proficiency in managing user accounts, permissions, and cloud-based productivity suites.
  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in an IT helpdesk or coordination role is ideal.
  • Education: Degree or Diploma in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (Certifications like CompTIA A+ or ITIL are a plus).
