Joinery Estimator

We are looking for 3 locally based Joinery Estimators as per the following job specifications and requirements:

• Provide accurate estimates for joinery projects. This includes assessing drawings, plans, and specifications; determining costs associated with materials, labor, and equipment needed; and producing detailed estimates and cost analysis reports.
• Create estimates for joinery projects based on customer requirements and specifications, including the cost of materials, labor, and overhead.
• Analyze drawings, designs, and other technical documents to accurately estimate the cost of projects.
• Utilize knowledge of joinery techniques to understand the scope of the project and identify potential problems.
• Identify and recommend cost-saving alternatives and efficiencies that can reduce project costs without compromising quality.
• Review quotes from suppliers and subcontractors and negotiate with them to secure the best prices.
• Monitor and manage the project budget and track costs to ensure the project remains within the budget.
• Maintain records of all estimates and submissions and keep up to date with changes in industry standards and regulations.
• Provide support to the joinery team in the development of designs, ensuring accuracy and cost-effectiveness.
• Liaise with customers to discuss their requirements, explain the cost estimates, and provide advice on the best joinery solutions.
• Troubleshoot any issues that arise and ensure customers are satisfied with the joinery work.
