Jr. Accounts Officer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Jr. Accounts Officer to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for supporting day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and managing payable processes. This role requires strong communication skills to effectively liaise with bank representatives and internal teams.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle accounts payable processes including invoice verification, processing payments, and maintaining vendor records.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records and documentation.
• Assist in the preparation and filing of financial documents and ensure compliance with internal policies.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with bank associates for smooth banking transactions.
• Utilize MS Excel for financial data entry, reconciliation, and reporting.
• Support audits by providing necessary documentation and reports.
• Ensure proper filing and organization of accounting documents.
• Assist with other finance and administrative tasks as required.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Basic to intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Knowledge of accounts payable and general accounting principles.
• Familiarity with filing systems (physical and/or digital).
• Ability to establish and maintain rapport with bank personnel.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of accounting software will be considered a plus.

Job Details:

• Working Days: Monday to Friday
• Shift Timings: 12 PM - 9 PM or 1 PM - 10 PM
• Employment Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
• Office Location: Bahria Town Tower, PECHS Block 2, Karachi

Job Types: Full-time, Fresher

Pay: Rs45,000.00 - Rs50,000.00 per month
