Junior Accountant

Experience: 2-3 Years

Location: Pune

We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Junior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will assist in managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
• Prepare and maintain financial records and documentation.
• Process invoices, expenses, and reimbursements in a timely manner.
• Reconcile bank statements and manage petty cash.
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports and statements.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, procedures, and regulations.
• Assist with internal and external audits as needed.
• Respond to accounting inquiries and resolve discrepancies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel.
• Familiarity with accounting software such as Zoho Books, or similar platforms is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills and a proactive attitude.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Internship or previous experience in accounting or finance is a plus.
• Knowledge of basic financial regulations and compliance standards.
