Johnston, Tomei & Goldberg, LLC, a well-established law firm with thriving practice areas in business, estate and trust administration, real estate, consumer, and civil rights litigation, as well as estate planning and real estate transactions, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Associate Attorney to join our team. This is an excellent opportunity for a legal professional under 4-5 years of experience to advance their career in a collaborative and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide legal counsel and representation to clients in a variety of civil litigation related matters.
• Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, contracts, estate plans, and other legal documents.
• Assist in the preparation and management of cases, including discovery and trial preparation.
• Collaborate with senior attorneys and partners on complex legal issues.
• Maintain strong client relationships and ensure effective communication throughout the legal process.
• Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in the state of Illinois.
• 4-5 years of experience in civil litigation.
• Strong analytical, research, and writing skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Commitment to providing high-quality legal services and client satisfaction.

Compensation and Benefits:

Salary to be commensurate with experience. Base salary of $75,000, with opportunities for case origination and performance based bonuses. Upon completion of probationary period, 1-day per week work from home allotted. The Firm will match IRA contributions and offers up to 80 hours of Paid Timie Off after completion of the first year of employment.
