Junior Civil Engineer

Job Description: Junior Civil Engineer (Finishing)

Reporting To: Project Manager

Qualification: BE/DE Civil

Experience: 3–5 years

Core responsibilities:

⮚ Execution work (Finishing), Construction quality checks, Material quality checks, Quantity estimation and Reconciliation, Finalising the measurement sheet shared by Jr. Engineer, Slab Checking with architect, RCC & MEP Consultant, Preparation of DPR, WPR & MPR , Preparation of purchase requisition at site

⮚ Execution of engineering & design works within budget and schedule

⮚ Supervision of all the construction activities which are being carried out like – Piling, Excavation, Rock Anchoring, RCC work, Blockwork, Plaster, all Finishing work, MEP work etc.

⮚ Lead and manage technical design processes on multi-disciplinary projects

⮚ Plan, monitor and supervise work of all contractors

⮚ Prepare & maintain technical reports, Material Received Records, DPR, construction work checklist, bill of quantities, reviews vendor/third party documents

⮚ Participate in company and Contractor facing technical and progress meetings

⮚ Coordinate with Contractor and particular focus on liaising with relevant Authorities and overseeing wayleave applications

⮚ Co-ordination with other disciplines to resolve engineering issues during design development, review and check processes - to ensure design packages meet the relevant health, safety and environmental standards

⮚ Discussions with contractor’s engineers and supervisors regularly on scope, man-hours and schedule

⮚ Participate in the technical reviews and progress review of projects

⮚ Preparing Snag List of each & every contractor work & follow up for successful completion of the same.

Minimum Educational Qualifications/ Experience required:

⮚ 3 to 5 years’ experience in Finishing residential building projects

⮚ Diploma/Degree in Civil / Structural Engineering recognized by PE board.

⮚ Possess sound understanding of drawings, interface between different objects and systems

⮚ Possess understanding of business critical scenarios in terms of site management and safety

⮚ Good team player with excellent communication skills

⮚ Possess initiative and customer focus

⮚ Must have experience of at least one residential building project with MIVAN shuttering from scratch to lock & key work completion.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: ₹35,000.00 - ₹50,000.00 per month
