The Division

Vencora is a global acquirer and operator of vertical market technology companies specializing in the banking, insurance, and financial services sectors. Headquartered in Toronto, Canada, it is a dedicated division of Volaris Group, a subsidiary of Constellation Software Inc.

The Position

We are growing and looking to expand the Vencora Insurance North Americas group with a detail-oriented and highly organized Junior Counsel/Contracts Manager . This role is focused on supporting the business units with the entire contract lifecycle – including updating and revising templates; tracking deadlines and renewals; and ensuring smooth contract workflows across business units.

Reporting to the Group Legal Counsel, this position will work closely with concerned stakeholders from different business units and will support the administration of a wide range of commercial agreements. Title will be determined based on the candidate’s experience and qualifications.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain and organize the contract repository, ensuring all agreements, amendments, and related documents are accurately stored and easily accessible.
  • Assist with the implementation, configuration, and ongoing maintenance of the Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) system - ContractPodAI.
  • Track contract deadlines, obligations, renewal dates, and key milestones; prepare reminders and reports for internal stakeholders.
  • Coordinate updates and version control for agreement templates, clause libraries, and internal documentation.
  • Facilitate the collection of required approvals, signatures, and supporting documents.
  • Assist with managing legacy contract migrations into the CLM platform.
  • Help identify process gaps and assist in implementing improvements to contract workflows.
  • Provide general administrative and project support to Group Legal Counsel and assist with first level review of NDAs.
  • Ensure all activities align with company policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

  • Ideal Candidate has US/Canada/UK/European Law degree and 3-5 years of legal/contract management experience working for multi-national software or technology companies.
  • Candidates with local LLB/LLM from HEC recognized institutions, with 5-8 years of experience at leading national law firms focused on corporate/commercial law or multi-national technology companies and exposure to North American commercial/contract law are also welcome to apply.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities, track deadlines, and follow structured processes.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to work effectively with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Experience with CLM systems or document management platforms is a strong asset; specific experience with ContractPodAI would be a bonus.
