Role Purpose

Logistics -Sourcing Team.

Responsibilities/ task

Key Responsibilities with brief description according to priority

Requirement Assessment

• Project-related summary of parts and components requirements for the entire engineering process.
• Ongoing revision of requirements throughout the entire project phase.
• Creation of schedules and timelines for parts manufacturing and procurement according to the PTK/PTM process.

Preparation Activities for Parts Procurement

• Preparation of the overall requirements list concerning order-relevant parts and assemblies.
• Management and maintenance as well as monitoring of the TFT.
• Obtaining quotes (internally) and participating in supplier selection.

Parts Commissioning

• Selection of the manufacturing process considering deadlines, costs, and technical requirements.
• Commissioning of parts and components for the various engineering departments according to the specified requirements.

Material Management

• Ongoing urgency of the commissioned parts and assemblies concerning deadlines.
• Clarification of technical and scheduling issues with the design departments.
• Participation in specialist group and supplier meetings.

Key Performance Indicators

Educational Qualification

Engineering Graduate + Basic SCM Function Knowledge

• Operation of MS Access applications
• SAP/SAM or other ERP systems
• Delivery note management
