Junior Engineer- Power

NCRi Solutions is looking for a Junior Engineer- Planning for one of the biggest Conglomerate clients based in UAE who provides essential offshore support for project planning, scheduling, and reporting. This role is responsible for consolidating site, engineering, and procurement inputs into accurate reports and presentations. By managing these core administrative and analytical tasks, the role allows on-site personnel to focus on critical site coordination and client interfaces.

Key Responsibilities:

• Strengthen overall project planning efficiency and data accuracy.
• Establish a structured offshore support system to complement on-site planning functions and improve organizational decision-making.
• Prepare detailed progress reports in Excel based on inputs from on-site engineers, including work narratives, completed/forecasted activities, and weather reports.
• Develop and update manpower histograms and equipment deployment details using Head Office inputs.
• Create internal PowerPoint presentations based on guidance from senior planning management.
• Maintain and update project risk and issue registers on a weekly and monthly basis using site-provided data.
• Manage site note logs based on information provided by Approved Planning Engineers.
• Assist in the preparation of manpower and equipment deployment lists for tender schedule submissions.
• Works closely with the Senior Manager of Planning, on-site Approved Planning Engineers, and the Head Office design and procurement teams.
• Coordinates regarding OEM schedules and with subcontractors as required.

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Engineering.
• Certifications: Oracle Primavera certification is required.

Technical Skills

• Software Proficiency: Expert in MS Project and proficient with Power BI tools.
• General Tools: High proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Experience

• Duration: 4–8 years of professional experience.
