About the role

The ideal candidate will be agile, adaptable, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities can shift rapidly. This role requires someone who thrives under tight deadlines, who likes to work in a multicultural environment, and is already proficient in Excel. Reporting to the Group Financial Controller, the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining group reporting and consolidation and enhancing our accounting process and controls.


Key Responsibilities:

Group Reporting & Consolidation

  • Assist in preparing monthly group consolidation files
  • Support tie-out of trial balances and intercompany eliminations
  • Maintain group-level reporting templates and schedules
  • Intercompany & Reconciliation – perform monthly intercompany reconciliations and investigate mismatches, assist with margin entries elimination

Audit Support

  • Prepare audit schedules, lead sheets, and backup files for group and entity audits
  • Maintain audit trackers and documentation folders for year-end audits
  • Support external auditor requests with timely and accurate responses

Management Reporting

  • Assist with preparation of monthly management reports and dashboards
  • Extract and organize ERP (SAP BYD) data for analysis and reporting

Process Improvement & Controls

  • Maintain trackers for deliverables, closing schedules, and reporting deadlines
  • Document recurring processes (e.g. audit prep, closing checklists)
  • Support the Group Controller in improving processes to suggestions provided by the internal controller

UAE Standalone Financial Statements

  • Help prepare audited standalone FS for UAE legal entities under IFRS
  • Prepare and maintain detailed support for notes (e.g. leases, EOSB, related parties)
  • Coordinate with auditors for UAE audit fieldwork and documentation
  • Track audit queries and follow up with relevant internal teams

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a collaborative environment
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines


Desired Background and Experience:

  • Bachelors / master’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field
  • Min 4 years of total professional experience, of which minimum 2 years in UAE, within accounting, preferably in an audit or consulting firm (Big 4 is a plus)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, experience with SAP business by design (BYD) is a plus
  • Fluency in English is essential
