Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site Junior IT Help Desk role located in Abu Dhabi. The Junior IT Support will be responsible for providing day-to-day technical support across hardware, software, Microsoft 365 tools, and network systems. The ideal candidate will troubleshoot desktop and email-related issues, assist with IT security and server maintenance, and ensure seamless IT operations for internal users. Tasks include handling help desk requests, supporting devices and printers, maintaining backup systems, and resolving technical problems in a timely and professional manner.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide technical support for Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, Teams, SharePoint, Forms, Yammer, and Power BI.
• Install, troubleshoot, and support desktops, laptops, tablets, and other IT devices.
• Respond to and resolve hardware/software issues and user support tickets.
• Perform routine server maintenance and provide support for server-related issues.
• Assist in managing network equipment including routers, switches, and firewalls (Fortinet).
• Implement and maintain IT security protocols and ensure antivirus and system protection is up to date.
• Set up and manage user accounts, passwords, and permissions.
• Provide basic technical support for Avaya phone systems and NVR camera systems.
• Support data backup and ensure data protection measures are in place.
• Recommend IT improvements and support future upgrades.
• Document incidents and maintain accurate technical logs.
• Perform other related duties as assigned by the IT Manager.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in IT support or a similar technical role.
• Proficient in Microsoft 365 tools and IT troubleshooting techniques.
• Hands-on experience with hardware installation and software configuration.
• Knowledge of network infrastructure and firewall setup (Fortinet preferred).
• Familiarity with security practices, antivirus tools, and data backup solutions.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluent in Arabic and English.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field is a plus.
