About Your Team

Reporting directly to the Planning Manager , you will collaborate with construction, design, procurement, and project management teams. Your role will involve maintaining planning data, producing progress reports, identifying risks, and advising on schedule variances to ensure all stakeholders are aligned.

Your Role

As a Junior Planning Engineer, you will:

• Assist in developing Baseline programme with the most appropriate techniques and logical sequence of the entire project scope, in conjunction with the Project Manager, in order to ensure the project is scheduled to complete the scope on time and within budget.
• Update the work progress into the Primavera programme by capturing the information from various registers and trackers
• Develop floor plan layouts with zones, areas to mark for the progress reporting.
• Update the Engineering deliverables including drawings, material and method statement submissions in line with the baseline programme and formulate KPIs for effective monitoring.
• Liaise with all team leaders and/or members to communicate required completion dates and interface between the functional team/operational team and project team.
• Track the delivery of long lead materials into a stage-wise requirement at the site, Highlight the priority of materials to the Project Team.
• Prepare and update three weeks and three months look-ahead schedules that reflect the priority activities as per contract milestones.
• Develop Construction KPIs as per MEP services discipline.
• Update labour team efficiencies based on site team performances.
• Captures and record Progress photographs based on zones, areas, phases and room-wise.
• Liaise with all team leaders and/or members to communicate required completion dates and interface between the functional team/operational team and project team.

This is a full-time position, working Monday to Saturday—standard for project-based roles in our industry.

What We’re Looking For

Experience:

3+ years in project planning, ideally within construction or infrastructure environments.

Knowledge & Skills:

• Minimum of 3 years' experience in building construction
• Excellent abilities in Primavera and MS Project.
• Excellent abilities in MS Office and CCS.
• Excellent analytical and Problem-solving skills.

Qualifications:

Civil Engineering or Building Degree or equivalent.
