Progress Monitoring & Reporting
- Track actual progress against the baseline schedule.
- Prepare regular progress updates and reports for project managers, client representatives (e.g., WAPDA), and funding partners.
- Identify delays and recommend corrective measures.
Coordination & Resource Planning
- Collaborate with civil, mechanical, electrical, and QA/QC teams to ensure activities are sequenced logically and resources (manpower, equipment, materials) are optimized.
- Coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, and stakeholders.
Risk & Delay Management
- Identify potential risks (e.g., weather, supply delays, technical issues) that may impact the schedule.
- Propose mitigation plans and schedule adjustments as needed.
Documentation & Control
- Maintain critical project documents such as baseline schedule, revised schedules, delay analyses, and meeting minutes.
- Support extension-of-time (EOT) claims or contractual correspondence when schedule changes occur.
Stakeholder Communication
- Present schedules and progress reports to the Project Director, Resident Engineer, contractors, and donors.
- Ensure transparency and alignment between technical and management teams.
