Junior QA Engineer

Job Title: Junior QA Engineer

Job Summary:
We are looking for a motivated Junior QA Engineer with at least 1 year of experience to assist the QA team in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software products. You will work closely with developers and stakeholders to execute test cases, report defects, and support the QA process throughout the software development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute manual test cases and document results.
• Identify, log, and report bugs, glitches, and errors.
• Assist in software releases, patch management, and post-release testing.
• Collaborate with developers and QA Engineers to improve product quality.
• Participate in creating test plans, test strategies, and test cases.
• Conduct post-implementation testing and troubleshoot issues.
• Maintain logs and documentation of testing phases and defects.
• Support QA processes in a CI/CD environment (Jenkins or similar).
• Assist with basic automation testing using tools like Selenium, WebDriver, JMeter, SoapUI, or Postman (desirable).

Skills & Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in software quality assurance.
• Good understanding of manual testing, SDLC, and testing methodologies.
• Basic knowledge of Java or any OOP language.
• Familiarity with automation testing tools and CI/CD pipelines is a plus.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
