Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify and engage potential clients, including researchers, academic professionals, institutions, and companies needing publication support.
  • Sell article publication services, including journal submissions, peer review assistance, formatting, editing, and publishing.
  • Understand the client’s research and recommend suitable publication avenues (e.g., open-access journals, indexed journals).
  • Achieve and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
  • Maintain and update CRM with accurate client information and sales pipeline details.
  • Follow up on leads generated through marketing campaigns, webinars, and conferences.
  • Collaborate with editorial and operations teams to ensure smooth post-sales service and customer satisfaction.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations or demos to prospects.
  • Keep up to date with industry trends, academic publishing standards, and competitor offerings.
  • Handle objections professionally and negotiate contracts and pricing structures.
