Junior SQA

Job Overview

We are looking for a Junior QA Engineer to join our software development team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, strong analytical skills, and a passion for ensuring high-quality user experiences. You will work closely with developers, designers, and project managers to identify bugs, verify functionality, and improve product reliability across web, mobile, and backend systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Review and understand project requirements and acceptance criteria.
• Execute manual and automated test cases for web and mobile applications.
• Identify, log, and track defects using tools like Jira, Trello, or Asana.
• Perform regression, functional, integration, and usability testing.
• Validate bug fixes and ensure product quality before releases.
• Collaborate with developers to reproduce issues and verify resolutions.
• Assist in writing and maintaining test documentation, including test plans and reports.
• Participate in daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and QA planning sessions.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies.
• Familiarity with bug-tracking tools (e.g., Jira, ClickUp, Trello).
• Experience with web browsers, mobile testing, and responsive UI validation.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving, and analytical thinking.
• Good communication skills and ability to collaborate in a team environment.

Preferred Skills

• Basic knowledge of automated testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Cypress, Playwright).
• Familiarity with API testing (e.g., Postman, Swagger).
• Understanding of version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Experience in Agile/Scrum environments.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Rs60,000.00 - Rs120,000.00 per month
