Key Account Manager

Job Title: Key Accounts Manager

Division: Commercial operations

Department: Sales

Role Purpose:

Key Accounts Manager is responsible for the effectiveness of Sales, presales and business development operation in his region which includes generating sales, achieving annual target as per the pre-defined budget through combining both technical and sales skills to ensure customer technical requirements are exceeded or met, marketing our products, proposal preparation, technical support and closing the deals.


DUTIES:

1- Pre-selling activities:

  • Conduct Pre-selling activities and support end users/Consultants in specifying the new products.
  • Getting the missed documents important to quote from customers.
  • Project studies and selection of products in terms of Hardware configuration, cost calculations & sizing.
  • Update and maintain all business documents related to the cloud server daily.
  • Building customer database.


2- Contracts:

Reviewing draft contracts.


3- Relationship and networking (internal & External):

  • Have regular marketing visits to the contractors, consultants and End users.
  • Establish good relationship with the colleagues, contractors, end users & consultants.
  • Regular Reporting to Direct Manager on daily basis.


4- Presentations / Seminars:

Make a proper arrangement for Presentations /seminars.


5- Sales Activities:

  • Prepare proposals / offers.
  • Follow up the quoted proposals regularly.
  • Managing the system invoices & Collection.
  • Getting the approval on our proposal from End user/consultant/contractor side
  • Provide technical & commercial support to customers.
  • Follow up the statues of ongoing orders.
  • Finalizing the orders.
  • Achieve the sales target as assigned by Direct Manager.
  • Achieve agreed gross profits.
  • Achieve the agreed KPI’s.


6- Business Development:

  • Support in getting the approval on the new products in his region.
  • Market & proposing the new agreed products at the same level of existing products.
  • Participate in implementing the sales and marketing plans for his region as per company
  • Propose the new products to market.


JOB SPECIFICATIONS:


1- Industry / Domain:

  • Water & Power / Sales.


2- Necessary Knowledge and Experience:

  • A minimum of 5 -7 years’ experience in a related field.


3- Education and Certification Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics or electrical or Electronics Engineering.


4- Job Specific Technical Skills:

  • Good Communication skills.
  • Good level in MS Office applications such as Word & Excel.
  • Good Follow up skills.
  • Good negotiating skills
  • Good Teamwork skills.
  • Ability to learn.
  • Ability to work under pressure.
  • Good command in Arabic and English.
