Position: Knitting Manager – Production (Sweater Industry)
Location: ZS Knitwear, Plot 33‑P, Chughtai Road, Off Anum Road, Farooq Industrial Estate, Gajjumatta, Lahore
Key Responsibilities
Manage daily production of sweater panels on flat knitting machines
Plan and execute production schedules to meet PPC timelines and delivery targets
Ensure machine efficiency, fabric quality, and minimal downtime
Supervise the knitting team including operators, technicians, and maintenance staff
Monitor yarn consumption, waste reduction, and quality control during knitting
Collaborate closely with PPC, quality assurance, dyeing, and stitching departments to ensure seamless workflow
Maintain detailed production records, shift reports, and efficiency metrics
Candidate Profile
Minimum 5 years’ experience managing flat knitting production in the sweater manufacturing industry
Diploma or bachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering, Knitting Technology, or related field
Hands-on expertise with flat knitting machines
Strong understanding of sweater fabric structures, yarn properties, and knitting parameters
Proficient in production planning, data analysis (Excel), and reporting tools
