A labourer performs manual tasks to support skilled workers, maintain worksite safety, and ensure efficient operations across construction, manufacturing, and warehousing environments.Core Duties and Responsibilities Labourers are responsible for a variety of physical tasks that support the smooth operation of job sites. include:

  • Assisting skilled tradespeople such as electricians, plumbers, and carpenters by preparing materials and equipment for use.
  • Loading and unloading materials, digging trenches, and transporting heavy objects.
  • Operating hand and power tools safely under supervision.
  • Cleaning and maintaining work areas, tools, and equipment to ensure a safe and organized environment.
  • Following safety protocols and adhering to workplace regulations to prevent accidents.
  • Supporting the assembly and disassembly of structures, scaffolding, or other components as needed.
  • Performing basic maintenance and minor repairs on equipment.

Skills and QualificationsSuccessful labourers typically possess:

  • Physical stamina and the ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
  • Attention to detail and adherence to safety standards.
  • Teamwork and communication skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues.
  • Basic knowledge of tools, machinery, and manual labour practices.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, though many positions provide on-the-job training.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: QAR1,800.00 - QAR2,200.00 per month

Ability to commute/relocate:

  • Doha: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Required)
